Helping Your Child Build Focus, Confidence & Fun
Hi, I’m Felipe Amarante, owner here at Jiu Jitsu 4 Life, and I want to personally welcome you to our Tiny Jitsu program for ages 4–5.
At this age, kids are full of energy, curiosity, and imagination. As parents, you may notice that they sometimes struggle with focus, listening, or sitting still—and that’s completely normal. Tiny Jitsu was created to help guide your child through this important stage of development in a positive, structured, and fun way.
Our goal is not to turn your child into a fighter.
Our goal is to help them learn how to focus, follow directions, build confidence, and feel proud of themselves—all while having fun and staying active.
Through simple movements, structured games, and lots of encouragement, kids learn how to listen, control their bodies, and work toward small wins. Those small wins quickly turn into confidence, better behavior, and a love for learning.
Every class helps your child grow mentally, physically, and emotionally in a safe and supportive environment where fun comes first.
That’s why I love teaching Tiny Jitsu, and why so many parents tell us they see positive changes not just on the mat, but at home and at school too.
Take a look below to see exactly how Tiny Jitsu helps young kids build focus, confidence, and a strong foundation for life.
Any of these challenges?
Your child is full of energy but sometimes has a hard time listening or focusing during activities.
They’re curious and intelligent, yet easily distracted at home, in school, or during structured activities.
They may be shy, hesitant to speak up, or still learning how to feel confident in new situations.
A Positive Way to Help Your Child Grow
At this stage of development, kids don’t need pressure or labels.
They need structure, consistency, encouragement, and a positive outlet for their energy.
Tiny Jitsu was designed to help young children build focus, confidence, and self-control through movement, routine, and fun — all in a safe, supportive environment.
Families in Coral Springs and nearby areas choose Tiny Jitsu as a positive, structured way to help their kids grow.

Small Steps That Lead to Big Growth
Young children learn best through repetition, movement, and positive reinforcement. When those elements are consistent, growth happens naturally.
In TinyJitsu, each class builds on the last. Kids begin to listen more closely, follow directions with greater confidence, and take pride in small accomplishments. Over time, those small wins add up to better focus, improved behavior, and growing self-confidence.
While your child is staying active and having fun, they’re also learning important life skills like patience, respect, and self-control — skills that support them both inside and outside the classroom.
Building Strong Foundations Early
At ages 4–5, children are just beginning to learn how to interact with others, follow simple rules, and understand their role in a group.
In Tiny Jitsu, we focus on helping kids develop positive habits early — like listening, taking turns, showing respect, and trying their best even when something feels new.
Through guided instruction, encouragement from our coaches, and positive interaction with their classmates, children begin to build confidence, social awareness, and a sense of responsibility in a way that feels natural and age-appropriate.
Movement, Balance & Coordination
Young children learn best when they’re moving. At this age, healthy activity should feel like play — not exercise.
TinyJitsu classes are built around fun, age-appropriate movement that helps kids develop balance, coordination, and body awareness without pressure or boredom. Through games, simple drills, and guided activities, kids stay active while enjoying every minute.
As they move, jump, crawl, and explore, they’re building healthy habits that support better sleep, stronger bodies, and positive energy — all in a way that feels natural and exciting for young kids.
Positive Social Skills for Young Kids
At ages 4–5, learning how to interact with others is just as important as learning how to move.
In Tiny Jitsu, kids are gently taught concepts like personal space, listening to instructors, following rules, and treating others with respect. These early lessons help children feel more comfortable in group settings and more confident expressing themselves.
These skills support positive behavior both at home and in social environments. Our focus is on creating a safe, encouraging space where kids learn how to communicate, cooperate, and build healthy social habits — all in a way that feels natural and age-appropriate.
A Place Kids Love to Be
We believe learning should be enjoyable — especially for young kids.
Tiny Jitsu classes are designed to keep children engaged, smiling, and excited to participate while still learning important skills like listening, focus, and respect. Through games, movement, and positive reinforcement, kids stay involved without feeling overwhelmed or pressured.
Just as important, Tiny Jitsu is a welcoming environment where kids make friends, feel included, and build positive relationships. It’s a place filled with encouragement, laughter, and confidence-building moments — and a place kids look forward to coming back to.
